Latest Performances

The Weardale Chest, a cycle of songs about Weardale past and present, will be given its first performance on Saturday the 1st of December at St John's Chapel Town Hall, Market Place, St John's Chapel, DL13 1QF. The choir are also recording the work and a CD will be available to purchase.

One Song, One Voice (lyrics by Chris Enticknap), a piece for 12 choirs using the structure of Thomas Tallis'Spem in Alium, was performed by 10 choirs, almost 400 singers, at Durham Cathedral as part of Durham Vocal Festival.
Just as Tallis' music is best heard in the round, the choirs processed to encircle the audience singing from different parts of cathedral during the performance. See a sample score here
